Jason Fitzgerald is a general practice attorney serving his North Shore community, because that’s what attorneys do- they serve their community. Whether you’re looking for someone to advise you on protecting your interests or defending your liberty, you can call on Jason. From data breaches and intellectual property licensing to forensic evidence and homicide trials, and everything in between, Jason Fitzgerald has the experience to deliver Practical Advice and Passionate Advocacy.
Jason enjoys navigating legal challenges for individuals and businesses alike and gives every client a straightforward answer or a referral for their solutions. With industry leading privacy and cybersecurity certifications, Jason brings a deep technical understanding to the most pressing issues facing businesses today (PCI DSS, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Jason is proud to be a member of the Section Council for the MSBA’s Tech Law Section and has been recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy by the IAPP. With years of experience designing and implementing compliance strategies, Jason knows that your business doesn't need to be told what's wrong, it needs the Practical Advice to make it right.
Working as a property title clerk and then operating a small farm, Jason earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Oregon before coming to Minnesota for law school. An honors graduate of the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Jason spent his law school years on the North Shore suppressing evidence and earning dismissals for Public Defender clients in every courthouse in the Sixth Judicial District (St. Louis, Carlton, Lake, and Cook counties). He has served clients across the full range of criminal offenses, from contested hearings and trials to appeals and post-conviction petitions. Jason understands the harsh realities of our justice system and that’s why he serves every client with Passionate Advocacy.
Clients love Jason because he takes the time to understand their concerns and recognizes that every situation and every client is unique. Jason enjoys volunteering and staying active in the North Shore community. His virtual office allows for a lean practice so clients are only paying for the legal services they need and not a fancy office space. Jason advises individuals and businesses across Minnesota and represents clients in proceedings at courthouses on the North Shore, Iron Range, Duluth, and beyond.
If you want an effective attorney that is available for you, accountable to you, and working hard for you, then contact Jason today.
